Joanne Potts. The Analytical Edge Pty Ltd.

Joanne Potts has worked in Australia, the United Kingdom and the USA in academic, government and private industry settings as a statistical consultant since 2004.

Her main areas of statistical expertise include survey and experimental design, linear and non-linear modeling, abundance estimation, population modelling, survival analysis and spatial modeling. Joanne has applied these skills to a wide variety of applications including ecology, biosecurity, engineering, underwater acoustics and social surveys.

Joanne has led numerous scientific projects, including the development of risk-based search strategies to detect citrus canker outbreak in Queensland.
